I emailed my school's symphonic band director earlier this week to see if I could set up an audition, and I never got a response so I just went over there today. Well, his email to me bounced, but he wanted to know if I could audition right then. I was all, well, I should practice first because I pretty much haven't played in 15 months. So I go home and try playing the audition piece. I made a lot of sounds, but none of them were pretty. I play flute, which has the capacity for making some very bad sounds. Now I'm scared to go back.

Haven't decided about rugby yet. Will go to practice on Tuesday and...observe, perhaps.
