My advisor is the grad chair for our dept., and he's totally disorganized and just now emailed all of us to tell us that our annual progress reports are due in 13 days. Except I don't get to write a progress report, I have to write my thesis proposal which is 10 pages in a grant proposal format. Grrrrr
