Well, tomorrow is election day, of course, and in yesterday's newspaper there was a rundown on all the local campaign issues. I was surprised to discover a half-page ad right smack in the middle of the section from a coalition of christian ministries telling people to vote against the new abortion ban.

*blink blink* Apparently I'm the narrow-minded one, because I assumed they were all, y'know, for it.

Yeah, a local methodist minister wrote in to the paper saying how he does NOT support it because it gives the government too much invasive power, not that he necessarily approve of gay marriage. But to be fair, it was only one minister out of a small city that has dozens of churches. :\
