Did my taxes with H&R Block's free e-file. I went through the IRS website and they have a bunch of links to free services. I think H&R Block's improved over last year, because it was super painless even though I had a couple extra forms this time around.

My menstrual cycle went from 28 days long to 22 days long for the last 5 months. He didn't have anything to say about it (he wasn't actually a gyno, he's general practice) but I'm worried I'm having early menopause or something. That would suck. I don't actually plan to have kids but it would still suck. Also I asked for a birth control prescription to help with acne, and he was like "well we have these creams, you don't need to put extra hormones in your body..." Yeah, I worked in a pharmacy, and those creams are hundreds of bucks. I'll try the pill, thanks. Also, getting your period every 3 weeks (and it lasts for 7 days) is super annoying, so the pill will hopefully fix that.

On a related note, my grandma has breast cancer. She had a mastectomy but doesn't know yet if she has to have chemo.

I also have to wear a heart moniter for a couple days to check out palpitations. It's probably not serious but my dad died of heart disease, so. And they checked my thyroid and cholesterol ETA and later gave me one of those "the doctor would like to discuss your results" phone calls. Apparently hypothyroidism is what was messing with my menstrual cycle. The tests are expensive and my insurance deductible went way up this year. Luckily, I just did my taxes. See how this post comes full circle?
