footstepOk, I'm in Sydney, Australia now. I've heard the "Land Down Under" song on four different bus trips. Spent a little bit of yesterday and all of today lying on the beach, although it was a little chilly. Australia is gorgeous as well. We took a cruise around the harbor and we all took many, many photographs of the Sydney Opera House (which is the big weird building that's always on Australian postcards, if you don't know-- I didn't.)
The very sad thing is I'm running out of money. But after Tuesday all my meals will be paid for, and I found out that after putting my car insurance policy on hold I'll be getting a $100 refund. So that's well and good.
Ugh, I can't think of anything else to say, which is so pathetic. I'm in an internet cafe right now. Tomorrow a trip to the aquarium is in order, I think, so maybe I'll have to come back and chat about that. They even have MSN messenger, so at the moment I'm bragging to Zach about my trip.
I haven't gotten to see a koala yet, I'm so disappointed. There's apparently a really kick ass zoo here, but I might wait until I get to Cairns to see the animals.
Oh, and we ended up driving past the place where the Hobbiton set was. The bus driver told us about it and this guy, Hassam goes "Oh, I thought these rolling hills looked familiar."
