zomg, today I washed my phone accidently. In a washing machine. My $150 phone with the Sex and the City ringtone and the number of everyone I've met since I started college. This sucks. Also, I believe a small, evil gnome follows me around and as soon as something expensive breaks (computer, ipod, now phone) it steals the manual and/or receipt and hides them from me.

But, I have my health and a place to sleep and such. No money for food, now that I have to get a new phone, but I have grandparents to mooch off of! And I have the internet. How I love it. It enables lj and thefacebook.com.

Damn. I've never done that, but my brother recently washing-machined his iPod. Of course, this gave him a reason to replace his 3G iPod with a video one, so in his opinion it was a good thing.

I would just die if I washing-machined my cellphone. I love my beautiful, pretty cellphone!

Oh, I would freak if I washed my ipod. It's more crucial to me than my phone is.

My phone is now drying out, and according to various people there's a small chance it may work again someday.

Well, I guess be glad that the way you lost your phone wasn't VIOLENT. My friend just told me today about how she was ROBBED at GUNPOINT the other day by guys stealing her cellphone & mp3 player. They hit her in the head and she has this huge gash.
